Laboratory Supervisor Team Lead

As a laboratory supervisor team lead in our kiwifruit testing laboratory, you would enjoy a diverse range of laboratory tasks include technical and managerial support to the Lab Operations Manager.

The key to success in this full time role would be ensuring day to day operations of the lab are to an exceptional standard. To do that you need to be able to train & guide staff, consult with key staff to ensure the delivery of great outcomes and ensure that everyone is performing to the highest standard.

This role will be responsible for assisting the technical team with maintaining operating instruments and equipment, analysing and reporting data, maintaining quality systems for proficiency. You would also be responsible for helping lead the team to greatness through training of lab supervisors and assistants, providing guidance and ensuring the lab operations are held at an exceptional standard.

Required Experience & qualifications:

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite
• Previous work experience in a similar role would be advantageous
• Proficient technical writing skills
• Advantageous to have experience with Laboratory Quality Management Systems
